MEMBER NOTICE: Summer Maintenance Closure Dates

Great things are coming your way!

As part of our upcoming annual August maintenance shutdown, we’ll be tackling a few projects and updates across the facility that will improve your experience during visits. Here’s what to expect:

The building will be CLOSED on all Sundays in August (3, 10, 17, 24, and 31)
and from Monday, August 25–Sunday, August 31

Swim lessons WILL occur on Sunday, August 3, 10, 17, 24
Swim lessons WILL NOT occur Monday, August 25-Monday, September 1

We’re kicking off one of our biggest projects—a full refresh of Bolger Fitness Center—on Wednesday, June 25. During this time:

  • A portion of the smaller alcove area of the Bolger Fitness Center will be closed off and behind plastic sheeting
  • You may notice some construction noise (don’t forget your headphones!)
  • Dumbbells and stretching equipment will remain accessible

We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we begin these exciting upgrades to serve you better.

Here’s a look at what else is in store during our August maintenance shutdown:

Bolger Fitness Center:

  • All new equipment
  • Renovated stretching area
  • Updated floor plan

Pools:

  • A new mural in Habernickel Pool
  • Pools will be drained, deep-cleaned, and fully serviced

Group Exercise Studios:

  • More ballet bars added in Simpson Studio
  • Floors refinished in Meads Hall
  • A brand-new program space
  • Expanded massage rooms

Outdoors:

  • New artificial turf on the mini soccer field (take a look—it’s going in now!)

General Facility Upgrades:

  • New wayfinding signage throughout the halls
  • General maintenance and touch-ups

CALLING ALL TEEN ATHLETES!

Speed and Agility Rust Buster for Teen Athletes

Time to shake off the rust so you can enter preseason ready to train!

This program prepares middle and high school-aged athletes of all levels for their respective spring sports after time off in a low-pressure, yet challenging environment and without the added stress of performing in front of coaches.

Programming will consist of speed, plyometric, and agility drills using ladders, cones, hurdles, and sleds, as well as upper body conditioning and mobility to retrain basic athletic movement and recondition fast twitch muscles. By reintroducing a consistent, yet easy-to-maintain schedule, athletes can reacclimate to having a training regimen. Athletes will complete the camp feeling warmed up and confident to begin preseason training.
