Caretakers Support Group meets on the first Monday of each month.
Support groups are open to members and non-members.
Caretakers Support Group for Neurodegenerative Disease
Our Caretaker Support Group is meant to provide a welcoming and safe environment for caretakers of individuals with neurodegenerative diseases to share experiences and feelings. Participants may also learn coping skills, stress management methods, and self-care techniques so that they can continue to provide crucial, quality care for those in need.
Caretaker Support Group meets on the first Monday of each month.
Monday, September 14 – The Grass Is Greener Where You Water It: Building confidence and self esteem while caring for your loved ones.
Monday, October 5 – Navigating Stress and Preventing Burnout: Strategies for managing stress while caring for those who matter most.
Monday, November 2 – Reframing the “Shoulds”: Exploring the obligations and expectations we place on ourselves as caregivers.
Monday, December 7 – Preventing Burnout and Finding Balance: Recognizing the warning signs of caregiver burnout and learning practical ways to maintain balance and well being.
