Adult Dance
let the music move you
Adult dance classes offer a fun, welcoming way to stay active while caring for both your body and mind. Dancing improves strength, balance, and coordination, boosts cardiovascular health, and relieves stress—all while feeling more like joy than exercise. Just as important, dance classes create a sense of connection, bringing people together to learn, laugh, and move in a supportive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or returning to dance, adult classes are a chance to build confidence, express yourself, and rediscover the simple happiness of movement.
Tap together: family friendly tap
This family-friendly tap class brings kids and adults together through rhythm and movement. Participants may register as a caregiver–child pair or individually. Tap Together introduces classic tap steps, timing, and coordination while encouraging confidence, creativity, and connection through dance. Tap shoes required!
Chair Rhythm + tap - NEW!
Introducing “Chair Rhythm and Tap”, created by Kathy Calahan (Broadway performer and experienced tap, jazz, and voice teacher). Developed specifically for aging dancers, non-dancers, and individuals with mobility challenges, this unique class is a joyful blend of rhythm, movement, and music all from the comfort of a seated format. It focuses on coordination, rhythm, and pattern memorization—but most importantly, it fosters joy, connection, and community through movement and music. No dance experience needed, but dancers arewelcome. Tap shoes or hard soled shoes preferred. Get ready to have some fun!
