Joseph & Kathryn Schmidt
At this year’s Gala, we are deeply honored to celebrate Joseph and Kathryn Schmidt—two remarkable individuals whose generosity, warmth, and dedication have left a lasting imprint on the Ridgewood YMCA and the greater Ridgewood community.
For more than 25 years, Joseph has served on our Board of Directors, been active in programs and committees including World Service. He has also shared his wisdom as a beloved meditation instructor, bringing an air of calm, insight, and reflection to all who learn from him. Kathryn has been a devoted volunteer and a key member of the Gala Committee, giving her time and heart to help our mission thrive. Together, they embody the very spirit of the Y: community, compassion, and service.
