We’re bringing the spirit of Havana to the Ridgewood Country Club for an unforgettable evening filled with lively music, tropical cocktails, great food, and plenty of surprises. Gather your friends and enjoy a festive evening designed to bring our community together in style—all while supporting the programs and scholarships that make a difference for children, families, and neighbors throughout our community.
This is one night you won’t want to miss. Dress in your tropical cocktail best, gather your friends, and join us for a Havana-inspired celebration of 124 years of community impact—while coming together to build an even stronger future for our community.
Your attendance at this year’s gala supports the programs that allow our communities to flourish: chronic disease support for Parkinson’s, cancer, and osteo/arthritis; scholarships for preschool and summer camp, food security, water safety, youth grief support, and so much more.

Paul and Becky Simpson
We are especially honored this year to celebrate Paul and Becky Simpson, longtime members of the Ridgewood Y family whose generosity, leadership, and commitment to our community have touched so many lives.
Paul serves on the Ridgewood YMCA Board of Directors, while Becky’s connection to our Y began many years ago as an instructor. Together, they are dedicated supporters of the Y’s mission, with a particular commitment to our Chronic Disease Support and Rainbows programs, helping individuals and families find connection, support, and hope.
Their generosity also extends globally through their support of OneHope Children, a nonprofit advancing educational opportunities for children in Africa. Becky also shares her musical talents by playing piano for patients and families at Valley Hospital and Villa Marie Claire Hospice Center. Through their shared service and philanthropy, Paul and Becky embody the spirit of compassion, community, and service at the heart of the Y.
