CALLING ALL 7TH GRADERS!
Our 7th Grade Initiative offers a complimentary Ridgewood YMCA membership to 7th graders! The initiative was conceived and implemented by the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance to support and encourage teens to maintain or adopt healthy lifestyles at an age when they are beginning to make their own choice regarding health and wellness.
At the Y, 7th graders enjoy access to our fitness facilities including our strength & conditioning center, Bolger Fitness Center, basketball gym, lap swim times, and teen fitness classes.
The Y offers a safe place where teens will find opportunities to cultivate values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.
to qualify
Students must sign a 7th grade pledge at our Welcome Center.
Must be a 7th grader in the current school year. Proof of school enrollment/grade is required.
A $30 fee will be taken as a deposit and credited to the first month of their 8th grade membership for September 2024.
