WATERFRONT HEAD LIFEGUARD & ASSISTANT HEAD LIFEGUARD
Working under the supervision of the SVP of Youth Programming and Strategic Partnerships to ensure a safe and positive environment for all patrons at the Waterfront Facility. This position ensures that staff are able to work in a well-organized and productive environment, receive high quality training to perform their roles at a high level, and coordinate with Parks and Recreation staff to create a positive and safe waterfront facility.

WATERFRONT LIFEGUARD
Working under the supervision of the VP of Youth Programming and Strategic Partnerships to ensure a safe and positive environment for all patrons at the Waterfront Facility. This position ensures that the patrons and programs running at the waterfront facility are kept safe and secure. Waterfront Lifeguards will have the primary responsibility of patron surveillance from appropriate lifeguard positions, enforce rules and respond to all emergencies within the park appropriately. Secondary responsibilities include daily trainings, swim tests, and maintaining swim docks in a safe and sanitary manner.

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR

Day Camp Counselors spend each day leading activities to guide kids in learning new skills and becoming better people. You’ll be responsible for the overall wellbeing of your group of campers and communicating with your Camp Director. Don’t have experience? All our training happens before camp starts and returning staff are ready to support each other. Counselors are expected to be kind, patient, creative, and outgoing while actively supervising groups. SUMMER CAMP HEALTH OFFICER
Ice packs and band aids and tweezers, OH MY! We are searching for an individual who is ready to respond to any situation, big or small, with a calm & clear mind. You’ll be responsible for maintaining health records, handling medications, and responding to radio calls from our counselors to treat any injuries. ADVANTAGE CARE SUPERVISOR – Camp Bernie
This position supports the work of YMCA Camp Bernie, a nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Under the overall direction of the Advantage Care Director, Site Supervisors will lead engaging academic, enrichment and recreation activities with students. Site Supervisors will provide opportunities for students to develop and strengthen academics, physical and social skills following the program curriculum. The Advantage Care program operates on weekdays from 7:00AM-6:00PM, in morning and afternoon shifts.
ADVANTAGE CARE TEACHER – Camp Bernie
This position supports the work of YMCA Camp Bernie, a nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Under the overall direction of the Youth Development Director, Teachers will provide remote learning assistance and homework help to students in the Advantage Care program, and will lead engaging academic, enrichment and recreation activities with groups of students. Teachers will
provide opportunities for students to develop and strengthen academic, physical and social skills following the program curriculum. The Advantage Care program operates on weekdays from 7:00AM-6:00PM, in two shifts.
