LIFEGUARDS/ SUMMER LIFEGUARDS

Immediate opening for mornings, afternoons and evenings.  Must have current CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguarding certification. Must be at least 16 years of age, but will consider a mature 15 year old with proper certifications. Salary negotiable. 

Looking for a seasonal position? We have summer lifeguard positions too!

WATERFRONT SUMMER LIFEGUARDS

Working under the supervision of the VP Of Aquatics and Strategic Partnerships to ensure a safe and positive environment for all patrons at the Darlington Lake. This position ensures that the patrons and programs running at the waterfront facility are kept safe and secure.  Waterfront Lifeguards will have the primary responsibility of patron surveillance from appropriate lifeguard positions, enforce rules and respond to all emergencies within the park appropriately.  Secondary responsibilities include daily trainings, swim tests, and maintaining swim docks in a safe and sanitary manner.

Must be 16+ (mature 15 year olds will be considered).

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELORS

Are you looking for a job where you can make new friends, be outdoors, and act as a positive role model for kids? Search no further! The Ridgewood YMCA is looking for upbeat and caring individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of our campers!

Day Camp Counselors spend each day leading activities to guide kids in learning new skills and becoming better people. You’ll be responsible for the overall wellbeing of your group of campers and communicating with your Camp Director. Don’t have experience? All our training happens before camp starts and returning staff are ready to support each other. Counselors are expected to be kind, patient, creative, and playful while actively supervising your group. We’re a team at the Ridgewood YMCA and if you’d like to join us, apply NOW!

Day Camp is in session from June 27th-August 19th, and we ask all applicants provide school/college start dates and any vacations at that time.

WATERFRONT HEAD LIFEGUARD & ASSISTANT HEAD LIFEGUARD

PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHERS

The Ridgewood Y is looking for assistant teachers for our Preschool program. Teachers must be an energetic, self-starter, self-motivated and mission-driven professional, to support day-to-day classroom functions, implementing curriculum, supervising children in our very first preschool program. BIRTHDAY PARTY COUNSELOR

Description

Applications are being accepted for a part-time Birthday Party Counselor to plan and supervise the outcome of the parties held at the Ridgewood YMCA. Hours may vary based on operational needs. Starting hourly wage will be within the range depending on knowledge, qualifications, training, certifications, and experience.
