Navigating the college admissions process can be an overwhelming time for families. Join us for our College Prep Workshop Series led by Suzanne Lagemann, a professional with a background in higher education admissions. Suzanne is ready to help guide you and your family through this exciting, yet confusing time.

COLLEGE PREP PARENT’S WORKSHOP
July 11 | 6:30-8:00PM
Preparing for the roller coaster ride that is college applications and planning. Learn how to support your student as they prepare for life’s next big stepping stone; from advice on how to best facilitate their college list creation to coping with acceptance and rejection letters.
COLLEGE ESSAY WORKSHOP
July 18 & 19 | 6:30-8:30pm
Bring your laptop and begin crafting your college essay. Whether you are using the Common App or applying to individual schools, the college essay will be a piece of the application puzzle. You will begin the writing process during this workshop and learn from a professional who has experience in the higher education system on what it takes to stand out and wow reviewers.
COLLEGE LIST WORKSHOP
July 25 | 6:30-8:00pm
Identifying and building your college list is an intimidating task, but through this workshop you will learn the do’s and don’ts to building a well rounded list that will encourage your student to identify and select schools where they will thrive and become the young adult they want to be!

Suzanne Lagemann
Suzanne Lagemann, M.A., has worked with middle school, high school and college age students for over 25 years. She has held positions in advising, counseling, admissions, financial aid, student services, management and teaching. Since 2014, she has been an educational consultant. Suzanne holds a B.A. from Bates College and an M.A. in education from New York University. She is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association, a member of NACAC and a member of the NJACAC. She is also a college admissions expert for the well known website Grown & Flown and has published articles on their site.
