Swim Inc.

SWIM, Inc, or Specialized Water Interest Movement, provides a safe and supportive environment for adults with mobility impairments to engage in aquatic exercise involving body, mind and spirit in a social gathering of caring and respect. SWIM Inc. is a free program.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER? 

SWIM Inc. at the Ridgewood YMCA is looking for volunteers. No specialized training is needed since we do not provide any therapy or medical advice, although you will be given guidelines and basic training for helping participants in and out of the water.  Volunteers are needed to assist swimmers as needed in movement from the entrance of the locker rooms, in the locker rooms, to the pool and in and out of the pool. 

To volunteer, please download and complete the below Volunteer Release Form along with the Emergency Medical form and return both to Karen Ostarticki. Completed forms may be returned in person or by mail to the Ridgewood Y or via fax number 201 493 0606.
