When asked to comment on what it means to him to join the Board, Campbell said;

“I hope to be able to provide some insight that could assist the Board and YMCA leadership to help make the organization more attractive and relevant to teenagers in our community. I will apply my leadership skills to help organize fundraisers and encourage other young people to participate in YMCA events.”

“We are pleased to welcome Spencer as a new member of the Board of Directors, said Ernest Lamour, CEO of the Ridgewood YMCA. Spencer’s unique point of view will provide our Board with relevant information that will help us to expand and strengthen our focus on youth development in the communities that we serve. He is a positive role model to his peers and his energy, enthusiasm, and spirit of volunteerism will be an asset to our Board.”
