Ridgewood Y 2017 Annual Support Campaign

GIVE THE GIFT OF BELONGING

Why is the Ridgewood YMCA so important to our community?

Four years ago, Jessica was diagnosed with breast cancer. On the advice of her doctor, she joined the Ridgewood Y’s Living Strong, Living Well program and it changed her life: in Jessica’s words:

“I literally could not open up a bottle of water. My right side was that weak. And now, I’m happy to say I can carry the laundry basket by myself, I can carry the cases of water on my own and I feel like I’m myself again, which I didn’t think was ever going to be possible. And without this program, I don’t think it would have been”.

Jessica’s life changing experience is but one of many inspiring stories we hear every day from those who have benefited from our Social Responsibility Programs. These programs serve thousands of people each year who face financial, physical or emotional wellness challenges. Thanks to the generous support of our friends and neighbors like you, we are able to offer many of these Social Responsibility Programs without charge.

THE RIDGEWOOD YMCA SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAMS

At the Ridgewood YMCA, we exist to strengthen community. We nurture the potential of kids, help people understand and improve their health, and provide opportunities to support our friends and neighbors when they need it most.

By making a contribution, your tax-deductible donation will help to ensure that the Y, a charitable, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, will be able to offer these vital community programs again next year.
