Urban Swim Program

For over a century, the YMCA has been teaching people to swim, and on a national level, the Y has taught more people to swim than any other organization.

Unfortunately, there are many families that are unable to afford swim lessons.  The Ridgewood Y strongly believes in the importance of children receiving proper swim instruction and each year, we work with the local group, Citizens For Swimming, to provide free swim lessons for children from the Community Association With a Ministry for People (CAMP), an after school program for Paterson youth.
