WHAT IS SWIM INC?
SWIM, Inc, or Specialized Water Interest Movement, provides a safe and supportive environment for adults with mobility impairments to engage in aquatic exercise involving body, mind and spirit in a social gathering of caring and respect.
SWIM Inc. is a free program and meets at the Ridgewood YMCA on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30pm in the Habernickel Pool.
To register for SWIM Inc., please download the below Swimmer Application form along with the Emergency Medical form and return both to Carol Livingstone. Completed forms may be returned in person or by mail to the Ridgewood Y or via fax number 201 493 0606.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
SWIM Inc. at the Ridgewood YMCA is looking for volunteers. No specialized training is needed since we do not provide any therapy or medical advice, although you will be given guidelines and basic training for helping participants in and out of the water. Volunteers are needed to assist swimmers as needed in movement from the entrance of the locker rooms, in the locker rooms, to the pool and in and out of the pool.
