MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION


Armed Services YMCA
The Armed Services YMCA and Department of Defense Outreach Initiative offers free YMCA memberships to eligible military families and personnel who may not have access to a nearby military facility. Confirm eligibility by contacting Military OneSource at www.militaryonesource.com or by calling (800) 342-9647. For additional information, please Tia Sargent, ext. 313.

Complete eligibility form, which can be printed below, and bring it to the Ridgewood YMCA
Along with the eligibility form, bring to the YMCA a Military ID and the Deployment orders. 
Memberships must be renewed after a six month period. To remain eligible family members must visit a minimum of eight times a month.
Eligibility is for Title 10 personnel only.


Cancellation
Cancellation of programs may occur due to insufficient enrollment. Credits or refunds are issued in these cases.

Credits
Credits, for class fees only, are prorated and issued only in cases of illness upon receipt of a doctor’s note during that session. Contact Ellen Behan, ext. 333.

Disabled Members & Guests
Designated parking spaces and ramp are available in the south parking lot. The Campbell Wing features an elevator. Additional changing areas and toilet facilities are located on the first floor. Both pools have stairs with railings for easy accessibility. Pool toilet facility is located on the deck of Habernickel Pool. Free Introductory Classes
Try something new! Arrange for a free introductory class. Swim instruction classes may be observed from the viewing areas.

Gift Certificates
Give a gift certificate for membership or one of our many programs: Water Exercise, Parent/Child Classes, Personal Training, Sports, Swim Lessons, Y's Shape Up, Strength Training, Art/Dance Classes. Available at the Front Desk or by calling YMCA Membership Office, 201.444.5600, ext. 335 or 313

Identification
Certificates are required of members without membership cards and are issued at the Front Desk upon presentation of proper identification.

Membership Policy
Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Membership is open to all regardless of place of residence, race, sex or creed.
Memberships may be put on hold for medical reasons only. Doctor’s note is required.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Membership is not transferable; loan of membership card subjects the owner to loss of privileges.
There is a charge of $5.00 for duplicate membership cards.
Membership must be valid through the entire session in order to register for classes.
Membership card must be presented when using facilities or registering for classes.

Y Cares Program for Financial Assistance
Membership is open to all and no one is denied participation in the Ridgewood YMCA because of financial need. For confidential financial assistance information, contact: John Duke 201.444.5600 ext. 335

YMCA Away Program
(Always Welcome at the Y) A national YMCA program that allows use of YMCAs more than 50 miles from your home Y with no or reduced guest fee. Contact the membership office at ext. 335 for more information.
