Appropriate Living for the Autistic (ALFA), in conjunction with the Ridgewood YMCA, runs a weekely adaptive therapeutic recreation program for young adults with autism. Held at the Ridgewood YMCA, the 3 1/2 hour program consists of activities which promote physical mastery while at the same time increasing the participant's awareness of the group enhancing social and recreational skills.
